Hello! I'm Deb King and I've been teaching yoga around Stamford and Rutland for over 10 years. I have several friendly groups - from beginners to experienced - so you are sure to find something to suit.

I have found Debs classes really bring me peace and of course increased flexibility. I thought my knee and back would be long term problems but not since yoga. Debs style of teaching is so unique I would recommend her above all others.
I have been attending Debbie’s classes for about 5 years. Debbie takes time to explain the postures and their benefits. She also helps you to to ‘assume the position’.
I firmly believe her classes have been of enormous benefit, they have really helped me with my lower back issues.
If you have never tried yoga, or tried and not felt an improvement in your well being I would strongly recommend you try and join one of Debbie’s classes.
Tuesday Evening Yoga with Deb is gentle exercise combined with relaxation and breathing which has improved my balance, flexibility and well-being as well as banishing the aches and pains I suffered from sitting at a desk for too long each day! Amazing. Thank you Deb.
Love the gentle yoga classes with Deb. Always fun, informative and well paced. I have definitely noticed improvement in my flexibility and strength and haven’t had a back issue for months.
Since joining Debs class 3 years ago my strength has improved considerably. I also had 2 arthritic lumps on my index finger of my right hand, and since doing the hand and wrist exercises both lumps have disappeared. Thanks Deb and I will be joining you in September.

Yoga with Deb’s ….. I look forward to my weekly class & have been going for many years ….benefits you both physically & mentally & you work at your pace…..it makes a difference
I have attended Debs classes for many years and have found them very beneficial and a wonderful hour and a half of me time. However over the summer I did Debs yoga for weight loss and found it amazing the fact that there are 30 minute sessions which easily fit into my day but also the short relaxations ,breathing exercises etc that take about 15 minutes, I would recommend Debs classes to all and frequently do.
I tried yoga for the first time on one of Deb & Elly’s ‘Wellness Days’ at South Luffenham Village Hall. A lovely combination of exercise (Salsa/Zumba with Elly) in the morning followed by gentle yoga with Deb in the afternoon – a lovely ‘Self Caring Saturday’ treat amidst a busy lifestyle. Can’t wait for the next one:)
I’m 60 and have had considerable physical issues due to a knee replacement and osteoporosis in my lower back. Debs beginners yoga classes have enabled me to sit and lie on the floor without pain, and almost without thinking again. I’m now as flexible as I was some years ago! And it hasn’t been hard work to get there.
Her gentle and sometimes amusing teaching style is also helping me relax and begin understand the peace that yoga brings. I’m glad that I made the effort to bring yoga into my life.
I have been doing yoga with Debs (who was recommended by a friend) for just over a year now and I look forward to my weekly friendly group. Debs is brilliant at explaining postures and the benefits each will bring but also giving you an alternative to suit your ability. I have more flexibility especially in my lower back and my balance has improved enormously.
