About SARAH BURGESS YOGA
I am a dedicated yoga practitioner and a passionate, very experienced and fully qualified Senior Yoga Teacher based in East London, with over 15 years teaching experience and 800+ hours of teaching certifications.
I teach regular weekly yoga classes in London , as well as monthly workshops. I also offer personalised 1:1 private yoga for individuals and corporate yoga for wellbeing in the workplace. I teach mostly in East London (E14, E2, E3, E5, E8, E9), as well as in The City and Central London.
I am proud to be recognised as a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals and have also been honoured to be featured as Teacher of the Month in Yoga Magazine.
My current teaching is a mix of in-person and live-streamed classes, and includes pregnancy yoga, vinyasa yoga, beginners’ yoga, hatha yoga, ashtanga yoga, slow flow yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga and postnatal yoga for mums and babies – please check my current schedule for more details: https://www.sarahburgessyoga.com/schedule/
I truly believe that everyone can benefit from yoga, whatever their background, age, size or current physical condition, and my approach to teaching is one of warmth, encouragement and care and is always tailored to an individual’s needs. My main aim is to make yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone and to help people find more ease and freedom in both their body and mind.
Having lived in London and worked in a busy office job in the publishing industry for many years before teaching, I am very aware of the stresses and challenges of big city living, and know how a regular yoga practice can be enormously helpful in dealing with these and can enable people to find more balance, space and calm in their bodies, minds and lives.

Location Information
This venue is a bright and spacious hall above the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre.
It is about a 15-20 minute walk from Canary Wharf or can easily be reached on the 277, 135 or D7 bus, all of which stop right outside the centre (Arnhem Wharf Primary School stop).
I also teach at a number of other venues in the Docklands and Isle of Dogs E14 area in East London, as well as pregnancy yoga in Bethnal Green; and postnatal yoga for mums and babies in London Fields, Hackney, E8. I'm also available to teach one-to-one yoga sessions throughout London, and corporate yoga in your place of work.

Pre-booking is required - please contact me to book a a place
Please bring your own mat and a yoga block
You are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before the class.

One of the best things I did for my pregnancy! Sarah is a lovely and kind person and her classes not only prepare you for the labour, but also help with the pains and struggles during the pregnancy.
I started Sarah’s pregnancy yoga classes when I was about 15 weeks pregnant, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. From the very first session, I felt so welcome, calm and relaxed. The classes are so supportive, and it really feels like a community. The classes are an invaluable way of keeping a calm state of mind during what can be a very anxious time. One of the best experience I have in my pregnancy journey. Sarah is an amazing person, teacher and guide. She go through your doubts and clear them by teaching you wonderful stretches with safety. Her positive energy and the ambiance of class always made me happy. She is very professional but at the same time you get a touch of personal as well. I highly recommend her classes.
