About Sevalight Hatha Yoga & Relaxation

Sevalight Hatha Yoga & Relaxation is a gentle form of yoga and is suitable beginners as well as experienced practitioners. It can be deeply healing for the body, mind and spirit, helping people of all ages and levels of fitness to find greater peace and harmony through the use of the breath, Asanas and postural awareness.
The Yoga Asanas are practised slowly, without pushing - only doing what feels right for your body in the moment. We aim to work with your body's own life energy, rather than pushing or straining. This is very strengthening for the muscles and encourages students to move steadily and with concentration - so needed in today's fast -paced world.
Each class ends with a deep relaxation. Please do bring a blanket and cushion which will help you to fully let go and go deeper into your relaxation. This enables you to assimilate the benefits of the Asanas, and allows you to bring the peace found into your daily life.

Although this is a gentle form of yoga you will still feel that you have had a good strong session. The focus is on breathing and alignment with attention to your posture during the asanas with relaxation at the beginning and at end of the classes, a few times I’ve fallen asleep at the end as you feel so relaxed. So, a great class and teacher, hope it continues.
