Menopause Yoga Workshops Programme
Menopause Yoga (inspired by my training with Petra Coveney), aims to educate and empower women, to help them embrace the changes as they transition into menopause or what we would like to call ‘second spring’.
During the workshop we will be doing some yin yoga and restorative yoga to cool and calm nervous system, promoting rest, release and surrender to the process of change.
The workshop is beneficial to women in any stage of menopause and to any woman wishing to learn more about the menopause.
A regular yoga practice is not essential.
Workshop will include: women’s circle (a safe space for women to share their own personal experiences), discussion, advice and guidance for well being, yoga practice, breathwork, finishing with restorative yoga poses and relaxation.
There will be 5 x 3 hours workshops to cover various menopause symptoms:
1. Sunday, 21st January 2024 – Release into The Coolness (Managing the symptoms of Hot Flushes)
2. 18th February 2024 – Soothing Anger (Managing the Meno Rage)
3. 17th March 2024 – Moving into Stillness (Managing the symptoms of Anxiety and Overwhelm)
4. 21st April 2024 – Crystal Clear (Managing the symptoms of Fatigue and Brain Fog) 5. 26th May 2024 – Welcoming the Second Spring (Regain Joy and Banish Low Mood)
Please wear something comfortable, bring a bottle of water, a notepad, pen.
Bring a few blankets and cushions to help you feel cosy and comfortable.
Yoga mats, yoga blocks, yoga bolsters and yoga straps will be provided.
Refreshments will be provided.
The total cost of the programme is: £175/per person (Which worked out at £35/ workshop)
£60 deposit required to secure your place (This will be non refundable)
Final payment to be completed on 14th January 2024.
